You may have heard about the recent commotion when Amazon.com and other affiliate networks had to drop all affiliates from certain states. If you lived in North Carolina, Hawaii, or Rhode Island, you might have received a notification from Amazon that you could no longer be their affiliate. For some people this may not seem like a big deal, but for some it is devastating.
Tax season just ended, and while some people might consider I am a bit late on writing about this, there is also another way of looking at it. Now is a great time to get the year off to a good start so that next year, you don’t have to go through what you went through this year on your tax returns.
