I would never ever recommend that someone new to Internet Marketing spend large sums for a coaching program, software package, or any other huge investment into online business. When I first began working online I did invest a bit more money than I had earned – that’s a bit hard to avoid in the beginning when you are still figuring things out, getting your sites up, and maybe making a few pennies on pay-per-click ads.

I just ordered something and I’m actually kind of excited about it. Okay to start off, I have to admit, I was bribed. The product owner is giving away free coaching MP3s for anyone who can pay shipping and handling of around $9.97. But instead of just giving away the MP3 files, or a CD, he is giving away the MP3 player as well. Not only that but his product looks USEFUL!

StomperNet teaches SEO, (Search Engine Optimization), eCommerce, and a lot more on the subject of Internet Marketing, but I have primarily learned SEO (Search Engine Optimization) from them. They offer a lot of free information and guidance, as well as a monthly newsletter subscription, and, for those who are up to it, there is a very expensive membership. Disorganization and confusion can be two of the worst, if not most underrated, enemies of the Internet marketer. Yet, in the battle against complexity, our most powerful tool is its opposite – simplicity. Some tools are so simple, that it’s easy to overlook how powerful they can become. Here is an example of one.

Of all the password recording and management solutions I have ever tried, my favorite so far is the CoffeeCup LockBox. You can download it for free for a test run, and if you decide to buy it, it costs a whopping $20.00 or so. Simplicity is so powerful in this software. It is fast and [...]

I have had a hard drive full of what I call “virtual post-it notes.” Notepad (.txt) files stored away in different folders with notes about everything. Little notes, you know? Like post-its on the fridge, but worse. I would need a hundred fridges to hold all these virtual post-it notes. Examples? Product Keys, Serial Numbers, [...]

One of the items I have begun to find helpful is a timer, which I use to actually keep track of how much time I spend, on what per day.
