If you have ever built a business ground up, online or offline, you probably know that there is a point (or, there are points) where things begin to expand slightly faster than is really comfortable, but still not quite as quickly as you would really like them to.

I would never ever recommend that someone new to Internet Marketing spend large sums for a coaching program, software package, or any other huge investment into online business. When I first began working online I did invest a bit more money than I had earned – that’s a bit hard to avoid in the beginning when you are still figuring things out, getting your sites up, and maybe making a few pennies on pay-per-click ads.

If you had 14 hours per week to work on your online business and you spent 10 of those hours wading through your emails, you’d probably find yourself getting nowhere quickly, no matter how many coaching programs you signed up for and no matter how many eBooks or free bonuses you downloaded.

One of the items I have begun to find helpful is a timer, which I use to actually keep track of how much time I spend, on what per day.
