Hi, anna this is sharoon .. please can u help me how and where i can paste my Pay per play code in my blog. I am using blogger.com .I read ur comment above , by that i opened layout then page element and then selected a gadget and then in that i selected java\html then i pasted my code over there . Even i tried by clicking posting and then selecting edit html and then i pasted my code over there . but after saving it , every time when i preview it there is no sound. I’m not to happy with PPP myself, CPA has actually given a better ROI on my websites. I don’t want to bombard my visitors with too many ads, but you got to pay the hosting bills somehow.

@ Anja – I understand your point. But truthfully, I don’t think it has to go that way. Because ads, when run correctly, are actually helpful and are a service to the site visitor as well. Think about it – whenever we come across an ad or a link to an excellent service or product which will help us, we are usually pretty happy. As a consumer, I would be lost if no one advertised! You have to keep things in perspective. As long as ads are done tastefully, are relevant, and are well-balanced with good content, they are actually useful.

But I think we should set limits to advertisments on our websites. Because if we have to many ads on the web, in some years really no one will click on them. They’ll be “resistent”. (like the all known banner-blindness)

Yes, I agree, similar story here, I liked the concept, not only from a users standpoint, but also from an advertisers view given I work several businesses which would make an impact in 5 seconds, so I was not happy to see this go no where all these months.

I thought for sure when Pickens ads were playing, and a few political ones on my sites, it was ready, and now, nothing, no updates I am aware of, and with under a $100. in account, it is hardly worth any promotional efforts.

With Adsense revenues down the toilet, as expected over past year, I was hoping PPP would pick up where Google left off. I am amazed at how ineffective Adwords has been over past year as well, so like everything on the internet, it is constantly changing.

Where I was doing well with affiliate programs, this too has dropped off, and the reason you see so many fire sales from all the affiliate guru’s of past few years. lol This recession is near depression levels now, so I have shifted all my focus on recession proof businesses.
