My Favorite Since 2006 – Personal Review

Update: As of January 2010 the service mentioned in this blog post seems to have become in-operational.  It was a great service while it was running but at the moment it seems to have gone inactive.

If you know me, or have been following this blog for a while, you might notice that I don’t promote every product launch or every new thing that comes out with a price tag attached.  I made a point when I started this blog that I would only promote products which I personally use and which I would recommend to my own friends and family.

My last post was about a service I recommend (albeit free), and I would not normally follow up immediately with another product review except that I received some information today which merits attention on a right-now basis.

Furthermore I don’t have a lot of time, so I don’t even manage to promote every product or service which I do buy and love.  At most I will add the link to my list of recommended resources once I have tried it and decided it is valuable.

In recent months I came across a service which I consider one of the best and most useful services I have used yet, in the field of Internet Marketing.  I wrote a post about this when I first signed up, but I have now had a few months to use the service and feel that it is valuable enough to merit a second follow-up post on my experiences with it.

In my post entitled 22 Months I explained how my first 22 months in Internet Marketing was largely spent making mistakes and learning from them. I explained how I wasted literally hundreds of hours doing things wrong, only for want of a simple datum or piece of information here or there which I didn’t know I was missing.

If I had had a good friend who was an experienced Internet Marketer, who could answer my questions or give me advice at any time, I probably could have accomplished, in 2 months, what I actually accomplished in 22 months.  No exaggeration.
The new service I have been using for the past few months has proven itself to be one of the best investments I have made since 2006.  No, I am not exaggerating or promoting I am being very honest with you.  It has been tried, tested, used, and has proven itself to be worth its bandwidth in gold.

Now, granted, if you sign up for this service through my affiliate link, I will get a monthly commission of a few dollars.  At the same time, there are dozens of services I could promote for a monthly commission.  I am being very selective here.

The service I am referring to is Easily Answered.  It currently costs $19.95 per month.

Easily Answered is a membership, which gives you access to a panel of experienced experts in the fields of Internet Marketing, Online Business, Website Design, Blogging, and more.  These are trained and experienced individuals who have made tens or hundreds of thousands of dollars online and are there to answer any question you might have.  There are dozens of experts including many whose names you might be familiar with – Holly Mann, Matt Garret, Todd Gross, Tim Brocklehurst.

Any time you have a question on any aspect of Internet Marketing or related fields, you simply log in to Easily Answered and type your question.

• Your question might be simple – for example, when you are searching for a Wordpress plugin to accomplish a specific task and can’t find it anywhere.  I’ve saved loads of time and trouble on this type of thing.  I simply describe what I am trying to accomplish and an expert tells me what plugin to use or how to make it work.
• Your question might be more complex, for example, on how to best implement a certain type of strategy.
• You might be looking for the best software or service for a particular purpose.  Instead of spending hours searching through product reviews (written by people who each want to sell you their product) you can get an unbiased recommendation from an expert.
• Perhaps you are overhauling a website and are wondering about major changes you might implement.  Will you regret them later?  Is there something you should know about this before you go ahead?

I have gotten advice, and answers to loads of questions, on everything from blogging, to coding, to stock photography, to website monetization, to backlinking strategies, and the list goes on and on.  I have even gotten advice on questions I had regarding work I do for clients.  Not only does it save me the time and trouble of figuring it out or finding the correct answer myself, but getting the answer from an experienced expert gives me the confidence that I am making an informed and professional decision which I won’t regret later.

In short, the membership has made a HUGE difference for me and each of my online projects.

I have also learned a lot just by reading questions left by other members and seeing the responses.  Questions which I didn’t even realize I myself needed to ask, but I did.
