Back to the subject of Internet Marketing, and another subject that is not only related, but important to me on a far more personal level … Honesty and Integrity.
Two of my favorite Internet Marketers are Silvie and Michael Fortin. Silvie is the author of Internet Marketing Sins, an eBook which was not only a true delight to read, but shed a very clear light on certain shadows which I think have been plaguing anyone who works online (or aspires to) to one degree or another, whether as marketer, as consumer, or both. Its difficult to encapsulate the concept of the eBook into a blog post, so I will have to leave it at that for now and simply highly recommend that you download and read Internet Marketing Sins at your next opportunity. (I know, I know, ANOTHER eBook to read?)
However this was not the main point of this post. I’m writing this post because Sylvie and Michael just released an excellent video on the subject of Honest Internet Marketing. It’s fun to watch, valuable for us both as marketers and consumers, and oh-so-true.

As a marketer it is imperative that you work to establish some sense of authority and credibility. Initially you may find that this takes a lot of effort because you are essentially unknown on the Internet. But overtime your name will become a recognized authority in the field and that will naturally add to your credibility.
It is very important to show honesty in internet marketing. Some times hackers are not sure why they are doing this. However, the video on “Honesty in international marketing” is really amusing.
