Do you speak geek? I sure don’t. I watched this video four times and I still couldn’t follow without the subtitles!
In fact I think I’d have better luck understanding Danish

That’s a very funny video. I guess there’s a new generation of geeks. I used to understand some geek talk but now it’s over my head. My son is studying computer science and he’s starting to sound like the people in the video – scary.
Hi Luca – funny to see this comment this morning, speaking of geek. I have started dreaming in code every night. And last night – I dreamed a group of vandals came and graffitied a house I had, and as part of their vandalism, they also turned of the house’s anti-spam filter! (The settings were changed on the wall – in spray paint!)
I was very upset and I turned my spam filter back on again – I guess I did that with spray paint too …
Great Video Anna, I felt so stupid watching it……..LOL! Someday I hope to speak geek but I think I will draw the line somewhere……..hehe

Fun video and they do bring out their point. Do you know if it’s a commercial?

Actually its difficult to follow what they are saying, though i really enjoyed the video and had fun watching it. Well those subtitles were very much required as these people goes over my head.lolss. Must say Yahoo got a great video add. And it was damm funny watching the second man.
@Stephan, yes, I understood it to be a commercial. And a very effective one in terms of viral marketing!
Haha, very nice! I guess it is good for companies if only some people can understand “geek”, because when they use the language it makes their products of company seem very official and great. I guess in time more people will learn it.

This reminds me of my brother-in-law. He’s always talking about computer things I don’t understand. It’s very funny and also completely over my head.

I certainly not. One time I visited a friend and she happens to have somebody in her house repairing her computer. The guy started talking and talking and I didn’t understand a word. When I turned to my friend to ask what he said, I was like “Oh, that was it? That’s what he said?”
@ Chrisile – LOL I know exactly what you mean!
Thanks Anna for this great post , it’s Really an appreciating work. Thanks for sharing.
